Exchange of experience and common good practice (Activity 4)

  • From 5-7 October 2022 we hosted in our area partners from LGD Zielony Szlak Niziny Mazowieckiej in the framework of the MN-VN cooperation project. We have prepared a programme for our guests to learn about best practices in the LGD Morawskie Wrota area and showcase the many strengths of our region. We visited all the communes and discussed their specificities all the time. The hosts in each commune, either personally or through their representatives, showed us the places of interest for visitors. We could mention places like Słoneczna Wyspa in Marklowicach, the recreation centre in Mszanie including Kamperownią, the mural commemorating the Powstań Śląskich riots in Skrzyszowie, the iron bicycle track, the historic church in Łaziska, the NAUTICA swimming pool in Gorzycach, Nieboczowy – a new village, the centre of Tworkowa with its church and the ruins of the renovated castle, the area across the border, i.e. the golf course in Silherowicach and the centre of Starego Bohumina. However, the most valuable were the joint discussions and exchanges of experience between the participants and our representatives at the gala dinner or the „Wino z MORAW-skich Wrót” meeting.
    We would like to thank the participants for their commitment and help in organising the visit, as well as the guests for the cordial atmosphere during the meetings in our area.
